Jay represents clients in the energy sector in matters relating to oil and gas exploration, production, distribution, and marketing. His practice primarily focuses on the preparation of title opinions and due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures.

Prior to joining the firm, Jay worked as an independent petroleum landman for Holland Services, where he examined title and worked on due diligence projects across multiple basins for publicly traded and privately held E&P companies. Upon admission to the Texas bar, Jay began his career as a defense attorney advising clients in medical malpractice, commercial litigation, and toxic tort matters.
