Reem represents clients in the energy sector on a range of transactional matters, with a particular emphasis on oil and gas exploration, production, and distribution. Her practice specializes in title examination related to the acquisitions and divestitures of oil and gas assets.
Prior to joining the firm, Reem worked as an attorney at Holland & Knight, where she represented clients on a range of issues from data privacy to renewable energy. Her energy work included research and analysis of investment tax credit eligibility for thermal energy storage and photovoltaic systems, opinion writing on credit eligibility and valuation, and analysis of the Inflation Reduction Act’s impact on energy investment credits.
