Practice Description
Porter represents clients in the energy sector in a variety of transactional matters relating to oil and gas exploration, production, distribution, and marketing. Her practice primarily focuses on title examination and due diligence related to acquisitions and divestitures of oil and gas assets.
Prior to joining the firm, Porter worked at a privately owned mineral acquisition company, where she assisted in negotiating, drafting and reviewing leases, purchase and sale agreements, conveyances, and other oil and gas contracts. Before attending law school, Porter worked as an independent petroleum landman in various plays throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
