Owen represents clients in the energy sector in various matters pertaining to oil and gas production, exploration, distribution, and marketing. His practice is centered around title examination and due diligence relating to acquisitions and divestitures of oil and gas assets.

Prior to joining the firm, Owen served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of the Energy Law Practitioner and as the Executive Symposium Editor for the Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal at Texas Tech University School of Law. He also earned three varsity letters and was voted Team Captain while playing baseball for Concordia University Texas.
