Practice Description
Brett represents and serves energy clients in various transactional matters pertaining to oil and gas exploration, production, and distribution. He has prepared hundreds of title opinions and focuses his practice on title examination, the acquisitions and divestitures of assets, and due diligence relating to the disposition of producing and nonproducing oil and gas assets.
Prior to joining the firm, Brett worked at several Houston-based firms and represented clients in matters including title examination, the management of a mineral interest portfolio, entity formation, corporate governance, contract issues, purchase and sale of assets, commercial leasing, and asset-based lending in the energy industry.
